Deviation: Steve's deviation starts after the Avengers movie. He shows up on Atia's island with a lot of hesitation. Being a virgin Steve has to get used to an island where you're expected to have sex every two weeks or a collar (placed on you when you arrive) chokes you out. He makes fast friends with numerous people and resorts to a little "self love" to help get by for a bit. Eventually when he feels it's necessary Steve has sex with Charlie Matheson and thus begins his entry into no longer being a giant virgin. Steve carries on with his life here accepting that this is where he's stuck. He makes some deals with the Goddess running the island to get some of his powers back due to them being nerfed upon entry. He starts to grow closer to Bo Dennis in a romantic situation. Unfortunately neither pull the trigger and the relationship falls apart into shamble. This results in Steve getting into a scuffle with the Sons of Anarchy boys due to him punching out Chibs who took Bo to the Halloween Masquerade party.

Steve moves in with the Warehouse 13 cast into the Bed and Breakfast they had on the island. There he starts over and keeps his life moving forward. At some point Bucky Barnes shows up on the island and Steve flies into a panic. At first he doesn't tell Bucky about his death, but after time passes he knows he can't keep it a secret anymore. Due to an event that broadcasts moments of their future Steve learns about him and Bucky's future fight on the helicarrier which leads him to start believing Bucky survived his train fall well before finding out his friend is the Winter Soldier. After some time him and Bucky decide to get a place of their own and things start to look up for them.

Wanda (from the comics) eventually arrives and grows closer to Bucky while Steve starts to spend more time with Bo's best friend Kenzi. He knows it's not the best thing, but he's always made impulsive decisions. A Christmas celebration sees Bucky and Steve "share" Wanda which leads to him becoming a part time lover to the both of them. Eventually though through a curse he winds up finally sleeping with Kenzi and they decide to keep it a secret from Bo. Finally they no longer have to worry about telling her due to Bo being returned home. Steve and Kenzi are free to be together and Steve couldn't be happier.

All good things must come to an end though. Wanda goes home and Bucky spirals out before returning home himself. When he returns he's lived through the Winter Soldier ordeal and Steve remains unsure about how to handle things. Eventually they settle with the help of Tony which he's grateful for. Kenzi does her part as well and he starts to see his best friend more and more. As time passes more Avengers arrive. Bruce. Thor. Natasha. But eventually Bruce returns home. Kenzi and Steve deteriorate and they eventually break up. Wanda finally returns to the island again only to find her lover connected with Tony. Steve has a rather enthusiastic reunion with her only to see her slide into a relationship with Tony and Bucky both. They remain like that for a while until the couple leaves and Wanda remains. Natasha moves out and suddenly it's just Steve and Wanda there alone.

It's Wanda who decides to handle her collar without Steve which leaves him a little wounded. They have a confrontation about it and eventually things do happen between the two of them. A sort of alliance and familiarity forms between them that grows into a full blown relationship once given time. The two eventually decide to get a new apartment when they decide the old one has one too many memories for them. Time passes and they grow closer and more intense. A intimate moment together results in Wanda blurting out a proposal to which Steve agrees quickly. The couple become engaged. Thus changing Steve's life forever.

Steve gets swept back home to his world for quite a while. But instead of being returned to Atia and her island he's instead brought here. To where his fiance has been taken and he can maybe find some peace after liberating his friends from the Raft.
